According to an exclusive report on Republic Reporters, The US State Department, has denied Governor Oshiomhole's $6 Billion Story, and warned him not to drag America to his dirty blackmail politics.
The Edo State governor who accompanied President Buhari in 4-days State visit to United States reportedly alleged that a minister who served under the former President, Goodluck Jonathan's administration, stole $6 billion (more than N1.2 trillion).
A quick contact with United States Department in Washington-DC on the matter, said it is a false allegation. US State Department denied the story, asked Oshiomhole to name the official, and not drag United States into Nigeria domestic politics.
It can be recalled that Oshiomhole failed to disclose the name of the minister and said the details were provided last week by United States officials during President Buhari’s visit where he was part of the delegation.
