Several bigwigs and godfathers in the country are lobbying to ensure one of their stooges get a ministerial slot in the present administration.
However President Muhammadu Buhari has been his own man and hasn't entertained nor encouraged those who showed interest and intent, The Nation reports.
Reports say the president isn't considering nominees presented by governors and ex presidents, deciding to base his appointments on merits alone.
