How Ex-gov Aliyu collected N30 Billion from the Treasury

While the indigenes of Niger State in Northern part of Nigeria wallowed and still wallow in hardship and poverty, the immediate past governor popularly known as the Chief Servant governor, Mr Babangida Muazu Aliyu, his SSG and his bunch of Commissioners are swimming in abundance, courtesy of their ability to loot their state silly.

In one of such looting spree, we authoritatively report that N30 billion was diverted to the former governor, SSG and his commissioners private accounts in one fell swoop. And this was withdrawn with just the presentation of each person’s curriculum Vitae (CV)

A document obtained exclusively by this newspaper detailed how a memo number SSG/S/816 from immediate past Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Saidu Idris Kpaki through the Chief of Staff to the Governor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor gave condition for securing their own cake of N30 billion bond.

The memo dated July 9, 2013 directed all the State Executive Council members to “submit as a matter of priority and urgency, two copies of your CV to reach my office before 12 noon tomorrow, July 10, 2013.

And with the CV submitted, the sum of N30 billion was signed away from the treasury.
