Peaceful Walk in Abuja; Monday 9th of November 2015 @ 9.00 A.M. Prompt.
Believe or not, it has come to stay in Nigeria; under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for gradually elevating Nigeria to Progress of Nations. More credits to his amplified administration.
Speaking with APC USA International Secretariat, Hajiya Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu said that she has this spectacular message to convey to all bonafide women and youth, including diasporans. Immediately the election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja declared in favor of the 1stNigerian Female Governor; “I hereby use this medium to notify the women, youths and the teeming supporters of the APC that the planned procession in support of the declaration of Senator Aisha Al-Hassan as the legitimate winner of the Last Gubernatorial elections in Taraba state by the Election Petition Tribunal will no longer hold on
Sunday 8th November. This decision was taken in view of the fact that many of our Christian Sisters and brothers may want to attend Church services as Sunday is a Sacred day of the Christian faith.
Furthermore, she also employed Nigerians in diaspora to call family and friends to join them in commemoration of this historical event since the creation of Nigeria, 1960
Considering some pertinent factors to make the event widely attended and pick intended audiences, Hajiya Dr. Ramatu reiterated accordingly, “some of our primary points of call which are the Federal ministry of Justice and the Federal High Court Abuja will also not be open to create appropriate impact as needed; to see our peaceful walk as Sunday is a weekend”.
In her closing remarks to Mr. Francis John International Coordinator while smiling, soothingly said: “I am glad to inform you that the procession has now been slated for Monday 9th of November 2015. I therefore implore all the Women, youths and the teeming supporters of the APC to converge on the APC National secretariat by 9.00 am prompt on Monday for the take-off of the procession”.
