Ghana’s President Mahama Says: “I wont allow useless insults to distract me”

President John Dramani Mahama says he is focused on delivering his promises for Ghanaians to retain him in power after the 2016 general elections.

According to him, “the useless insults” against his administration will not distract him from achieving his goals.

President Mahama made the comment while addressing teeming party members at a rally to begin his ‘Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana’ tours of Accra.

Citing members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) as ardent critics of his administration, the President insist the party has no locus condemning him.

In his view, some of their leaders especially their vice presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not fit to describe his government as incompetent.

“All of them [NPP critics] in the officers they occupied should tell us what competence they displaced” he scoffed.

President Mahama urged the NPP to solve their internal difference since his competence will by judge for the citizenry on November 7, 2016.

“My competence is for the people of Ghana to judge and I know that come 7th November, 2016, the people of Ghana will judge my competence and will give me a second term in office and NDC will win another victory by the grace of the Almighty God” he stressed.
