There is still no respite for the ex-National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki who spent his Christmas in prison as he was yesterday re-arrested by the DSS.

It was yet another dramatic encounter as the Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday re-arrested former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki shortly after he was released from the Kuje Prison in Abuja.
Dasuki is standing trial in three different courts in Abuja for alleged money laundering offences running into billions of naira.
He was taken to court by the anti-graft agency, the EFCC, but he was granted bail last week along with former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir, as well as a former NNPC top official, Aminu Baba Kusa.
However, it was not made known the reason for his rearrest. Dasuki’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji (SAN) confirmed his re-arrest to Daily Trust last night
