The members of the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, PETROAN, and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, have finally settled their month-long rift over petroleum product lifting at the Port Harcourt depot and other locations across the country, DAILY POST reports.

A reliable source at one of the unions told DAILY POST that the committee, made up of four nominees from IPMAN and three from PETROAN, would ensure the security of petroleum products across the country.

DAILY POST reports that PETROAN and IPMAN had been at loggerheads over dominance at the nation’s depots since they both brokered an agreement with Dangote Refinery for direct petrol purchase.
