The Yoruba Community Association (YCA), Toronto is delighted to present a free Insurance education webinar for Nigerians living in the diaspora, Saturday, March 29, 2025.
The President of the Yoruba Community Association (YCA) and Board Secretary of the Nigerian Canadian Association (NCA) GTA, Toronto, Canada, Michael Kehinde Abiodun, shared a distressing experience; “I assisted in the burial of three Nigerians between the ages of 39 and 50. They had no life insurance. Can you imagine how the burials were carried out? There are many Nigerians in the diaspora who have been without life insurance for years.”
Abiodun emphasized the importance of insurance, stating, “Imagine when those without insurance pass away, family members, friends, and others resort to social media or GoFundMe to seek financial support. Students, visitors, and others need insurance to protect themselves financially against any unforeseen circumstances.”
Social media platforms from various countries, including USA, Canada, London, and even China, have shared stories of individuals who have passed away without insurance. The amount spent on attending parties and other social events without having no life insurance is a significant concern. Living in foreign country without life insurance as protection is a big issue.
The webinar aims to highlight the significance of insurance and provide valuable insights into its importance.
The session will cover the key points on life insurance.
