Some Nigerian football fans have expressed their happiness over the national team’s display against Russia in their international friendly on Friday.
DAILY POST reports that Russia dominated much of the encounter at the Luzhniki Stadium on Friday evening.
The hosts took the lead in the first half through Semi Ajayi’s own goal.
However, Eric Chelle’s side equalised in the second half, thanks to Tolu Arokodare’s goal.

Some insisted that goalkeeper Maduka Okoye saved the Super Eagles against Russia, while others criticised Victor Boniface, claiming the striker struggled against the hosts.
